If I prepay my funeral, will my family have to pay more at the time of my death?

No. At Wallace Funeral Home, everything but the cash disbursements are guaranteed not to increase in price.

What are cash disbursements?

Wallace Funeral Home is pleased to arrange for various funeral related expenses for our families,  such as:

• Newspaper and radio advertisements
• Cemetery lots
• Burial place opening and closing
• Clergy
• Organist and soloist
• Flowers

My Mother prearranged her funeral years ago and I received a bill after she passed away. Why?

Cash disbursement costs are an estimate only and may be included in a pre-arranged funeral. However, Wallace Funeral Home has no control over the exact cost of these expenses at the time of need. If cash disbursements are pre-paid, it is very likely that the costs of such things as newspapers, Cemetery fees, and flower arrangements would have increased, thereby leaving a small invoice at the time of the service. For this reason we suggest that cash disbursements should not be prepaid.
